Why You Should Take Marketing Seriously

It may be that you struggle to take yourself seriously, almost as if "the only way i could do it is in a jokey way" it gives you a way of saying "yeah i only do it for a laugh" You care too much about what someone is going to say against you.

How about "i believe in what i do and i stand by every word and action i do, what about it?"

This may seem daunting to you, the thought of doing something that requires you to be serious about who you are and what makes you who you are.

Without having done the work on yourself you probably dont even know all that much about who you are.

Sure you might remember your life but if i was to ask you,

What are your values?

What do you believe in?

What is your ultimate objective in life?

Why do you want to achieve that?

What is your lifestyle?

Whats your mission in life?

What legacy do you want to leave behind?

There are so many questions to ask about who you actually are that you might just not even know.

Its amazing that all of the school work we have had to do and never did we ever get taught about how to know more about who we are as an individual person.

It builds a society where you cant even be explicitly who you are because you dont feel comfortable in sharing it to others.

That's what a lot of it boils down to, what are you comfortable with sharing & why is it next to nothing.

If this then that is the feedback that our mind goes into.

So if i do this action - then this is the repercussion.

Tony Robbins spoke about this and usually its a fear that if we’re not good enough we wont be liked/loved.

sounds really simple but if you question that it is, its what holds you back when it comes to limiting beliefs.

Its human behavior that holds you back from reaching your potential - its believing that performance equals love or acceptance and its something we encourage to confront and overcome because it is just that a belief.

This helped us stay out of danger as a survival instinct but in this day and age it is harmful to what it takes to be successful.

Everyone has their own internal representation of the world around them and what they think is the case when really they are just seeing their own perceptions of it.

You can have whatever mindset you want to.

You believe you cant because experiences have told you that you cant probably because if you do you wont be liked or accepted - true freedom comes from deciding to not care what others think and to choose to be yourself and to do take on your role of being and sharing who you really are in spite of what you think will happen.

Only through doing this will you break free from it.

I want you to argue with your mind and when it tells you something you don't agree with you let it be known to yourself that you are in control and that you can.

You are not your thoughts, you are only experiencing them and they come and go.

The thoughts you have are built from your experiences and cant always be trusted.

Do remember and trust that your mind is doing its best with the resources it has available to it.

Unlocking the ability to learn about yourself, promote yourself builds authenticity and when you can finally do that, that is what attracts people.

Who you truly are resonates with those who are similar that want to be them self too, so if you can capture that and articulate it, the connections you will build will be insane.

Take the lead and people will follow.

You can do what you thought you couldn’t

This is the true secret in how you can earn a higher income than working any job will ever allow you to, having the ability to know who you are and why you do everything puts you on the map, and as spoken about - it blends is with anything you do.

You get to be able to pair this combination to be able to promote and sell to make your own money from just being who you truly are.

You get to make money based on things you know, what you do & what you want to happen in your life.

Your past doesn't have to be your future, you can make that change.

If you’re not stable, get stable but don't stop there.

Climb over and above the system.

Be able to speak to someone and share what you are so passionate about that they see that and are willing to hand you money just to be apart of that.

You will become magnetic through this.

When you feel the impact of doing all of this it will rub off onto others.

it is taught that to elicit a state in another you must first be in that state.

That's why sales is all about transference of emotion.

So when you get your mind right, begin to feel amazing, amazing things happen

What happens on the inside, goes on the outside.

Doing this and getting people into states of excitement, passion and certainty makes for amazing relations because when someone feels that energy, they want to work and build with you - it brings its own states that amplify them self.

Marketing brings connection with people because you realise so many people in the world are serious about themselves enough to ignore what societal norms are and take action towards building their dream life.

You meet these people and you make plans, you learn from each other, motivate each other and take action together.

A massive part of anyone successful has come from making others successful. It’s creating results for others and people will never thankyou enough for helping the way you will have.

These are skills you gain that you’ll never get anywhere else but alongside people who just want to win.

So it doesn't even matter if you don't know people. You get to know them and you learn everything you can and make stuff happen.

If you get to know the people you dont, amazing things can happen.

Thats why you should take marketing seriously, because it will change your life.

There is nothing more fulfilling than knowing who you are and learning to be comfortable with just being you and shouting it from the rooftop and i know it because im a pretty private person.

I feel the need to only share whats necessary and that holds me back because if i say x then y will happen.

But i’m wrong and i know it, so i’ll never stop challenging what i know i can bypass - Its an illusion and a primitive safety factor to keep you comfortable.

Do not conform to it.

Stand out, be loud, be proud.

Your internal game will be on top and you’ll never be better.

Everything in your life will improve because of your outlook, your relationships, your lifestyle, your learning, your growing, your financials, your motivation, your future, your past.

You’ll realise all you want to do is do better.

We all start somewhere and you just need to go for it.
